The Challenge

Over 20 million Nigerian children are out of school, mainly due to poverty, insecurity, and lack of infrastructure. Traditional systems fail vulnerable groups - children with disabilities and those from extremely poor households.

Our Approach

A narrative-driven documentary using personal stories of children and families to humanise the crisis and showcase the Accelerated Learning Programme: mobile classrooms, community involvement, and innovations like waste recycling to pay school fees - with testimonials from beneficiaries, parents, and programme leaders.

The Result
  • Raised awareness and visibility among sponsors, partners, and government stakeholders
  • Contributed to the enrollment of over 5,000 beneficiaries into quality accelerated learning programmes
  • Supported advocacy efforts and calls for policy change
  • Enabled continued funding and sponsorships through transparent impact verification
